In the coming days, Tele-Naro customers will discover, directly within their enerdrive sphere, a new digital presence designed to support them more easily in the use of their tools: Iris, our new AI assistant.
Iris was not designed as just another additional module. It is part of the historical mission of Tele-Naro: helping companies maintain a clear, centralized and actionable view of all their mobility energies. Private fuel stations, charging points, public cards, telemetry, excise duties, consumption, costs and operational data: the enerdrive sphere already brings all this information together within a unique, user-friendly and high-performance environment. With Iris, this experience gains a new dimension: more interactive, more intuitive and more directly accessible.
But even before discovering its features, one question naturally arises: why this name? Why choose Iris to embody this new intelligent interface between Tele-Naro, its tools and its users? Behind this short, soft and easy-to-remember name lies a series of strong meanings, perfectly aligned with our identity, our Belgian roots and our vision of the mobility of tomorrow.
In a digital environment, the relationship between a user and a tool often begins with a first interaction. That interaction must feel natural, reassuring and immediately understandable. This is especially true for an assistant powered by artificial intelligence, whose mission is to help users find the information they need more easily.
With Iris, we wanted to give this new digital presence a simple and meaningful name. A name that is easy to remember, easy to use naturally and that reflects the idea of accessible support, without unnecessary complexity. Iris embodies this ambition to make the experience within the enerdrive sphere even smoother, more direct and closer to the daily needs of our customers.
Iris is not simply “a chatbot”. Iris becomes a point of contact, a digital presence capable of guiding, explaining, assisting and simplifying access to information.
The choice of Iris also makes perfect sense through the visual identity of Tele-Naro. Our logo evokes the eye: the eye of remote monitoring, remote management and continuous control of mobility energy distribution installations.
The iris is precisely the coloured part of the eye. It is what gives the eye its visual identity, its nuance and its uniqueness. In French, Dutch, German and English alike, the word “iris” also refers to this coloured part of the eye, further reinforcing the relevance of the name in a Belgian and multilingual environment.
This symbolism is particularly meaningful for Tele-Naro. Since the beginning, our mission has been to “keep an eye” on our customers’ installations, consumption, anomalies, costs and energy data. Thanks to our remote management, centralization and analytics solutions, fleet managers benefit from a reliable and continuous view of their operations, whether related to private stations, public cards, charging points or telematics data.
Iris therefore embodies this idea of intelligent vigilance: a digital eye that is available, attentive and focused on operational efficiency.
The name Iris also echoes a well-known symbol in Belgium: the symbol of Brussels. The Brussels-Capital Region chose the iris as its regional symbol through a parliamentary resolution in 1990, before its graphic design was officially established by the ordinance of May 16, 1991.
Even today, the iris remains at the heart of Brussels’ visual identity. The Region’s graphic charter also highlights the importance of a visual identity capable of reflecting diversity, dialogue, international openness and the plurality of audiences Brussels speaks to.
For Tele-Naro, a Belgian company active in the intelligent management of mobility energies, this connection is far from anecdotal. Iris reflects our roots, our local anchoring and our ambition to provide modern, reliable and future-oriented tools.
In Greek mythology, Iris is also the personification of the rainbow and the messenger of the gods. She creates a link between worlds, carries messages and symbolizes fast, fluid and luminous communication.
This image perfectly reflects the role we want to give to our AI ChatBot. Iris is designed to create a more direct connection between the user and the information they need. She represents a new way of interacting with Tele-Naro: faster, more intuitive and more accessible.
The rainbow adds another essential dimension. Through its multiple colours, it perfectly illustrates the growing diversity of mobility energies. Diesel, HVO, electricity, hydrogen, biofuels, public cards, private stations, charging points: companies no longer manage a single energy source, but an increasingly complex energy mix. As we already explained in our analysis on data centralization, this diversity of sources creates new challenges: heterogeneous formats, multiple suppliers, different metrics, scattered data and the risk of blind spots in overall management.
The enerdrive sphere was specifically designed to address this complexity. It centralizes, structures and makes mobility data actionable, providing companies with a complete, clear and operational view of all their energies. Iris is fully aligned with this same ambition: making information more accessible, more readable and more useful.
With Iris, Tele-Naro adds a new intelligent interface to its historical mission: keeping a permanent eye on its customers’ mobility energies and making their management ever simpler, more complete and more efficient.
The launch of Iris obviously does not replace the human support that is part of Tele-Naro’s DNA. Our teams remain at the heart of customer relationships, consulting, analysis and solution implementation.
Iris complements this support. It helps improve the user experience, simplify access to information, guide requests more quickly and enhance the user-friendliness of our digital tools. In an environment where data is multiplying and needs are evolving rapidly, artificial intelligence becomes an additional lever to simplify operational management.
Choosing Iris is therefore much more than choosing a pleasant first name. It means choosing a name that brings together several dimensions of the Tele-Naro identity: the eye, vigilance, remote management, Belgian roots, the diversity of energies, communication and innovation.
Iris embodies what we want to offer our customers: a clear vision in a complex environment, simplified access to information and intelligent support in managing all their mobility energies.
In the coming days, Iris will officially join the Tele-Naro ecosystem. We look forward to introducing her to you and, together with her, continuing to make your mobility energies ever smarter.
